These tools and techniques help project managers to keep projects on track, manage resources effectively, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Piyalee Das Sharma is a technology project manager with over 20 years of experience in managing complex software development projects. Piyalee has worked with leading automobile, healthcare and financial industries across the country including Ford Motor Company, Detroit Medical center, Medco, and Regions Bank. Piyalee has a proven track record of delivering successful projects on-time and within budget. She is skilled in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Waterfall project management. She is PMP and PMI-ACP certified and in her current role at Regions Bank, she is responsible for project planning, resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder communication and passionate about delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of the business and end-users. Outside of work, Piyalee enjoys teaching dance, traveling, and cooking for homeless shelter and other community service. She is also an active member of the Project Management Institute and regularly mentors PMP students.
